Theory Of A Harmonious World Of China's International Image Positioning

East Asia is playing an important strategic role in the world's politics and security. In the post-Clod War time, the security situation in East Asia has changing a lot, although the confrontation state between two camps has faded away, the present situation is not optimistic. Not only old regional hotspots still exist, such as Korea Peninsula issue, Taiwan Issue, but also a series of new threatening factors arise, some of which result from traditional security problems as well as non-traditional security problems. East Asia is consisted of most intensive powers, including China, America, Japan and Russia, which are all located this region and have vital security interest here. This fact leads to very complex interest relations with each other. Besides, the security relations among these powers, as well as their attitudes and political inclination to regional security will exert great influence on the whole security in East Asia. Therefore, how to solve the security dilemma haunting East Asia and to realise the regional security becomes great concerns for every country in the region, and will influence the peace and stability in the whole East Asia or even the whole world.The present security order in East Asia is in chaos, which including the system of American allies, ASEAN pattern, as well as the "New security concept" advocated by China. The essay comments all these three patterns, and argues that in the guidance of "New security concept", adhering to the principle of first "mini-bilateral", then "mini-multilateral", at last "macro-bilateral",all countries should gradually develop the security relations among coutries in East Asia. On the basis of mutual benefits, China should strive for corresponding strategies, take active measures, promote the process of regional security cooperation, and maintain the peace and stability in East Asia.
