Study Of China's Soft Power In The Process Of Peaceful Reunification

This thesis stresses the treatise on idea of soft power, and relevancy between national peaceful reunification and soft power. Moreover, it points that soft powern, in fact, is a power of attraction and absorbability, which is found to be in line with force's characteristic of national peaceful reunification. As the country's peaceful reunification of the power, this article mainly discussed on soft power of the building from four aspects, which is political ideology and political system, universal values, Chinese culture and quality of citizens. As the conclusion, this thesis proposes three suggestions for the peaceful reunification of the motherland, and make feasibility analysis for all of them, and also prospects of the peaceful reunification of the motherland are made. The three suggestions comprise political marketing to US, emphasising on Taiwan the achievements of Chinese characteristics socialistic democratic politics construction, and personnel exchange across the Taiwan strait. The thesis believes that China's unity is inevitable, and the main trend is peaceful reunification. However, Unity is difficult and twists and turns. The schedule of China's peaceful reunification depends on how much hard power China owns to"prevent independence", and how much soft power it owns to"promote unity". According to process and objective of China's reform on opening up and modernization, China's peaceful reunification will happen in the 2060s roughly.
