Sino-us Strategic Game On The Korean Peninsula

Because of its prominent natural geographic location, complicated geopolitical structure, Korean Peninsula has significant geo-strategic value. It has become a major region for Great Power struggling. Since the end of Cold War, Korean Peninsula's situation has always been in turmoil. The severe situation had posed great threat to Northeast Asia and entire Asia-Pacific region's security and stability.However, due to the special communicated link between China and Korean Peninsula's countries in history and after Cold War the United States became a decisive power on Korean Peninsula's situation, the Sino-US strategic game's results on Korean Peninsula, to some degree, will determine the development trend on Korean Peninsula in future. Therefore, if we can find out a stable and predictable interaction behavior pattern of strategy game between China and the United States, regardless to China or to the Korean Peninsula situation development and even entire Northeast Asia regional security and stable, have all vital significance.Therefore,base on China and the United States respective Korean Peninsula strategies, this article is aimed to use basic principles of game theory to analyze strategic benefits gains and losses of Sino-US strategic game, establish a model of Sino-US strategic game on Korean Peninsula and then find out a stable and predictable interaction behavior pattern , finally learn the possible development trend on Korean Peninsula situation.
