Care ethics, as "a different voice" with just ethics,came into existence in the United States at the turn of the 1970s. In accordance with the theory of care ethics, proposed by the American scholar, C. Gilligan, Nel.Noddings, American educator and philosopher, applied the theory into the field of moral education and came up with moral education theory of care ethics. The instruction model of care ethics is unique in its purposes, methods and contents. Therefore, the model blazes a new trail for moral education. The model, put forward by Noddings, has great implications for the reform and development of teenagers'moral education in China.The thesis is made up of three parts.The first part deals with care ethics and moral education. In this part, the author dwells on the existence and basic principles of care ethics and the relationship between the theory and moral education.The second part is mainly about the instruction model of ethical attention and its features. The thesis illustrates the purposes, contents and methods of the model. The author also brings into analysis the five characteristics of the model, that is, the importance of relationship between students and teachers, the exemplary role of examples set by teachers, the importance of students'experiences and feelings, the emotional aspects of moral education and practicality of moral education.The third part is mainly concerned with the methods by which problems in teenagers'moral education can be solved efficiently. This is the body of the thesis. The author, from the perspective of care ethics, analyzes the causes and deficiencies of teenagers'moral education in China and probes into the strategies of moral education from the three aspects of families, schools and society.
