As the fourth media of information transmission, it brings us a broad vision , renewed ideas, efficient exchange of social information , convenient social communication and a great change in people's life style. At the same time, it is open and virtual, hence bringing with it unprecedented impact on people's life and negative influence upon the psychology of teenagers who form the majority of net-surfers. Curious but weak in self-control, lacking social experience, they may easily get "lost" in net-surfmg. Many problems have emerged in both the network activties and in reality-identity ambiguity, cold and indifferent inner world, enfeebled and distorted morality, to list just a few. The current education in ethics is confronted with challenges rarely felt in the past brought by the negative influence of network, of which the network morality of teenagers is the most impending one. Faced with this new problem of education in network ethics , we feel that it allows no delay to carry out research in this sphere. It is of practical and theorectical significance to give it a full description and look to its future.Wide concern of the acdemic circle has been aroused for the psychological influence of network on teenagers. In this cyber-era, the current education in ethics has concentrated on such major issues as how the psychology and ideology of teenagers would evolve , and how the ethical educational system should be constructed. But the current development of education in this regard has not been going on in a smooth way because of the great complexity of the network itself and also because the education is still unfledged. Viewed comprehensively, researches are carried out roughly in the followingaspects: the challenge composed for ethical education and meanwhile the opportunity offered by it; the necessity of adjustment of ethical education under the network circumstances and so on. Various aspects of ethics has been probed into by researchers. However, much research work remains partial, descriptive instead of being overall and gives no convincing prescription.This essay is based on the above understanding and reference to relative theories and research findings.
