In the new round of senior school curriculum reform, tremendous changes havetaken place in the textbook. Function as the core of high school mathematics, what isthe difference between the new textbook and the past? What kind of impact to thedevelopment of students? Study of these issues on the reform of the mathematicscurriculum and textbooks; absorb old textbook reasonable approach and perspectivefrom the old teaching materials for the new choice has important significance.In the new curriculum reform, traditional teaching methods and new teachingmodels are compared and researched by many scholars, but specific to a particularsection of the old and new material changes in the content, teaching methods andchanges in the way students learn there is no relevant information and documentaries.Innovations of this article is to address the reform of the function teaching, in part,through the adoption of document retrieval method, survey method, case study methodand classroom teaching and research with action research method of combining thefunction of some of the old and new materials have done a comparative study, So as toarrive under the New Curriculum Reform in the function of the old and new materialchanges in teaching content and teaching methods and student motivation to learn thechange of the changes taking place, and thus summed up the new educational reform ismore a step function model of teaching reform achievements, and there is problems andaddress these issues the corresponding number of recommendations and, in the hopethese proposals and methods of some colleagues and students to play a role.On the Secondary School Mathematics is concerned, the importance of thefunction is beyond doubt, it is middle school mathematics in the bond, but it is also oneof the hardest for students to understand. Based on the importance and complexity ofthe function ,the second part of the text studies on the function of teaching philosophy,content, objectives and teaching evaluation for old and new courses ;in Part III theexponential function and logarithm function, two teaching courses case, described indetail the function of teaching under the new curriculum reform process and with thetraditional teaching model analysis and comparison, summed up the function ofteaching the new teaching model to students the impact of the reform. Part IV in the textfor the function teaching is part of the high school students and teachers that we were did a survey and research. Through surveys of students a thorough understanding of the function under the New Curriculum Reform in the awareness level of knowledge of whether the fitness function and Teacher teaching reform and other issues. Text in the last part: We have reviewed the new curriculum reform school function under the teaching reform achievements, and also pointed out that the existing problem of current reform and our efforts in the hope that these suggestions on China's reform and development of mathematics curriculum and textbooks play a certain building inspiration and reference.
