In the 1990s, the native language teaching or Chinese teaching in our country has been influenced greatly due to the impact of weakening grammar teaching which prevails in the field of language teaching. The word"weaken"which seemingly means the burden relief has actually brought some serious disadvantages with this teaching principle is carried out profoundly in practical teaching.Combined with the author's teaching experience and based on the historical development of Chinese grammar, the thesis mainly focuses on the disadvantages of weakening grammar teaching. What's more, a deep exploration about the cohesion of Chinese grammar in middle schools is also discussed in the thesis since there is hardly possibility for changing the current situation. At the same time, some suggestions on Chinese teaching in junior high schools are put forward both practically and theoretically, while based on the class teaching and the entrance examination to college, some feasible solutions to Chinese teaching in senior high schools are also available in the thesis.
