Review of history of Chinese grammar teaching in middle school, its importance has always been changing. On the one hand, the change has shown the hesitant attitud e of the Chinese education workers for grammar teaching.On the other hand, it shows the necessity of grammar teaching in Chinese teaching. So, it is difficult to completely abandon it. This embarrassing situation is on the limited understanding of the teaching grammar, and it also because of the reason for the fundamental purpose of grammar teaching is unknown. Under the dilemma, the practice of grammar teaching has been far from the actual nature of Chinese teaching.From the view of teaching grammar system, in the past time, middle school language grammar teaching has always been centered on the traditional grammar (sentence component analysis (pca), analytic hierarchy process). This kind of grammar teaching only stays in the rules, forms and static level, but lacks the implementation of the semantic, dynamic and pragmatic aspect. The "Academic tendency" on teaching grammar system and the lack of practicality of grammar teaching, make grammar teaching just stay on the memorization of the complicated concept, but seriously lack energy and disjoin the language teaching practice.As a result, it is hard to guide the language practice use. The bad results of grammar teaching make the propulsion of grammar teaching more difficult. Since the eighty s, for the influence of "desalinating grammar" ideological trend, Chinese education has failed to give the change of grammar concepts the corresponding attention it deserved, and among them, the concept of three planes grammar, syntax, semantic plane, pragmatic plane) as a kind of new grammar conception, its language discipline of speech, semantic, dynamic and pragmatic view of syntax are similar to the Chinese education properties in some extent.This paper argues that a new bridge shall be built between the emerging view of syntax and Chinese subject teaching, then to achieve the "belated update" of Chinese grammar teaching. The paper is composed by three part.The first part reviews the grammer teaching in the past; the second part states the concept of three planes grammar; the third part introduce the combine of three planes grammar and Chinese teaching.Grammar teaching has always been one of the focus of attention problems in middle school Chinese teaching.For such a significant research topic, although I have made a bold vision, and carefully explored, limited to the personal professional theory level and the lack of practical experience, this thesis has not be comprehensive and in-depth analysed. So in the concrete practices, the effective and practical method may be lacking. I will always pay close attention and continue to think about this thesis.
