Nowadays,"Teachers' professional development"gradually becomes the tide and tendency of global teacher education development and it's also one of the hot topics that discussed in the teacher education reform in China. As the youth history teacher in educational front, we face a lot of challenges. Youth history teacher is an important part of school teacher. As the main force and fresh troops in the school history education, their professional growth and development are directly related to the success or failure of the new history curriculum reform.With curriculum reform and development, the new curriculum reform puts forward unprecedented challenges to teacher education. How to deal with and to meet the youth history teacher professional development in new curriculum background has become the subject which many history teachers and education departments concern.This article is written from the angle of youth history teacher, explains the present situation and predicament that the youth history teacher professional development facing, analyzes the reasons of professional development obstacle and explores the youth history teacher professional development strategies on the basis of the new curriculum reform concept.This article is divided into four chaptersChapter one, Introduction. This chapter summarizes the reasons and significance of selected topic, the research status and trends of this topic, the innovation and characteristic of this article and research ideas and methodsChapter two, Basic concept definition. This chapter introduces the concepts of the teacher, the young teacher and teachers' professional development. Through basic concept definition and understanding, construct and unscramble the subject of youth history teacher professional development.Chapter three, the questionnaire about current situation of youth history teacher professional development. This chapter starts from the questionnaire survey and explains the present situation of youth history teachers'development based on questionnaires survey and finds the obstructing factors influenced the youth history teachers'professional development.Chapter four, implementation strategies of youth history teachers'development. This chapter analyzes strategies which can promote their professional development from the two angles of youth history teacher professional independent development and external environment construction.
