Loss Of Male Kindergarten Teachers In The Reasons And Countermeasures

With the development of society and the higher attention paying to the education, more and more people appeal that male teachers should participate preschool education. The male preschool teachers have become the focus that employers are trying their best to battle for, but in the real, lacking of male preschool teachers has turned to be a very common phenomenon: the loss of male preschool teachers makes a vivid comparison with the scrambles of employers, it also makes a sharp contradiction with their special and important roles in the preschool education. Based on thinking of the problem, this research applies the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and depth interview etc to deep study, aims to find a way to increase the rate of male preschool teachers.First, I analyzed the effects of male preschool teachers during children's growth. The male preschool teachers have a natural physical quality,a positive character,an open and active way of thinking. Their special gender roles and gender consciousness also make a positive and irreplaceable influence to the children. In the realistic situation, the male preschool teachers are very welcomed by kindergarten directors,female preschool teachers,children and their parents.Second, I made a survey about the situation of configuration and loss of male preschool teachers and found the number of male preschool teachers is very few, the rate between male and female teachers is extremely unbalanced. The main reason is that kindergarten training school and university are in lack of the male students who want to be preschool teachers. In addition, the phenomenon of male preschool teacher's job-transfer after 2 or 3 years is very serious.Third, by questionnaire survey and depth interview, I found the deep reason of the lack of male preschool teachers. Totally, it is because of lower salary,lower social recognition,personal value not reflected,not adapting to the environment of kindergarten.Last, I tried to find the methods to increase the rate of male preschool teachers. we need not only the powerful policy of government but also the legal protection. And the kindergarten should provide a more humanism,scientific environment. Besides, we need the efforts of male preschool teachers,colleges,mass media etc.In the conclusion of the research, I used a way of rational thinking. The lower salary and status are the main reasons. But the power of academic appeal is weak, the intervention and behavior of government are the decisive factors. While under the situation that the treatments and status of male preschool teachers are not changed in a short time, the own qualities of male preschool teachers and the environment of kindergarten become the key factors.
