The Case Study Of The Loss Of Male Preschool Teachers

With the developing of society, as well as education, the advantages and the important role of the male teachers gradually began to be realized, and the voice of the male teachers entering kindergarten increases higher. The male graduates who major in Early Childhood Education has been the objects for kindergarten looting. However, with the phenomenon of the male teachers being so sought after, the presence of a serious brain drain of male teachers at the same time. After the male teachers enter kindergarten2-3years, they will switch to other industries rapidly.Based on the thinking on this issue, this article is based on qualitative research methods, used with literature analysis、in-depth interviews and other methods. First of all, analysis of the inherent advantages of male kindergarten teachers, including the advantages of physical fitness, male-specific personality traits and male teachers gender roles. Then introduce the loss of the male teachers of the kindergarten, and summarize the reasons for the loss of male kindergarten teachers, mainly on the professional choices of passive, low wages, low degree of social recognition, not suited to the working environment, lack of professional happiness.Finally, explore countermeasures to address the loss of male teachers in kindergarten, mainly comprising the policy support, the correct guidance of public opinion, the adjustment of teacher training, improvement in the management of the park and male teachers self-improvement. The author expects to find ways to improve the’survival rate’of the male teachers, and do something for the development of the early childhood education.
