Therefore, the implementation of teaching gymnastics, to a certain extent, reflects the quality of teaching Physical Education.However, The current status of Gymnastics Teaching is Unsatisfactory.High schools are not interested in gymnastics teaching and students lack of enthusiasm for gymnastics. These problemes not only hinder the conduct of gymnastics in high school, but also affect the health of all-round development of students.This paper takes Chongqing High School's gymnastics teaching in general as the research object, Using literature data, questionnaires, interviews and other methods to carry on the investigation about Chongqing High School's gymnastics teaching in general, from the results of the survey analysis shows that the development of school sports work lacks of effective supervision and management; the Management are formality; Most of the physical education teachers' gymnastics teaching still stays in the traditional gymnastics teaching means level.There are few P.E teachers who use information technology means to teach gymnastics; the physical education teachers lack comprehensively, scientific knowledge about the Value function of gymnastics. Because of security factors, they were too anxious about gymnastics teaching.Mean while, students seldom take part in gymnastic activities.They know little about the fitness function of gymnastics.They don't put the gymnastics as their exercise needs and the means of exercise. Most students don't like gymnastics but other sports, Most of the physical education teachers' gymnastics teaching still stays in the traditional gymnastics teaching means level, they rarely use information technology means to teach gymnastics. PE teachers' age structure is basic reasonable, mainly distributs in 26-45 years old, The number of female physical education teachers needs to be added;the gymnastics teaching content of Chongqing General High School is single and arbitrary; As for teaching field and equipment, no matter the quality or quantity, have not reached the basic standards prescribed by the state.The proportion of various types of equipment there is a serious imbalance, the layout is not reasonable, so there is a big gap between the schools.The proportion of various types of equipment is imbalanced and the layout is not reasonable. These are the main factors that influence the development of general high school gymnastics teaching.Based on the questionnaire survey and key visit to chongqing, ordinary high school gymnastics teaching, the author has carried on the preliminary evaluation.Due to the difference between urban and rural area, the different natures of different schools, questionnaires covered 40 districts in our city. The author analyzed the collected questionnaires and gave the following Suggestions:All schools should establish and build damage of the incident treatment mechanism.All schools should multilateral raise funds to improve the teaching environment and facilities and develop gymnastics equipments by themselves; Strengthen teacher's staff construction; Increase the number of female teachers in gymnastics; Enhance the physical education teachers'continuing education and training in gymnastics, Improve the technical level of teachers; Conscientiously implement the new curriculum standards and carry out the gymnastics teaching goal; Reform the old gymnastics teaching evaluation mode and evaluate diversity from multiple perspectives;all schools should strengthen gymnastics propaganda work, carry out various forms of gymnastics competition, give students the opportunity to show themselves, satisfy the need of self-realization and cultivate students'interest to promote the development and popularization of the school gymnastics.
