| With the new basic education curriculum reform in China, the government establishes the purpose of the basic education is cultivation of qualified citizens, new meanings to the new curriculum given by our time propose higher demands on teachers. A new position of teachers given by new curriculum,requirement for teachers through the implementation of new curriculum,research trends in the field of education and the urgent situation the curriculum reform under international environment, all these illustrate the adaptability of teachers to the new curriculum is essential, especially the teachers adaptation directly impacts on the validation of the new curriculum implementation in teaching stage of high school. Geography in high school also had a great reform around the new curriculum, the integrated nature of geography also laid its importance in high school, and geography teachers' adaptation on implementation of the new curriculum in high school is an important research subject.With the study on psychology,education psychology,education, defines the core concepts involved in paper. This paper is based on the reforms outline of the elementary education, takes high school geography new curriculum standards as a criterion, under the guidance of the theory of people-oriented in organizational behavior,"active""multiple" learning theory in constructivism,multiple intelligences,cooperative learning,cognitive theory,geography teaching evaluation theory and geography sustainable development idea, with educational research methods, it adopted methods of literature heritage,survey,interview,observation,synthesized analyzing,induction etc, and carried out a research in nature combined with a mathematic way. It includes the following seven parts:the relevant definition and theoretical basis, the interpretation of new curriculum and orientation of high school geography, the status of geography teachers' adaptation to the new curriculum ideas in high school, analysis of actual performance of high school geography teachers during the new curriculum implementation, synthesized analyzing to the adaptation of high school geography teachers under new curriculum, analysis the impact factors to problems in adapting the new curriculum, policies of improving the adaptability of the new curriculum of high school geography.On the present stage, many important achievements have been obtained in this field, but there are still some problems, for instance, the research methods are too simple, the defiance of adaptability only focus on biological and psychological aspects, the research subjects and content represent regionalization etc.According to the analysis above, this paper has made a more comprehensive perspective research on high school geography teachers in our country by using random surveys, interviews, observation etc based on the present achievement. Analyzing problems mainly on both accepts:teachers' concepts and behavior. Analyze the teaching beliefs, student beliefs, evaluation beliefs, personal relation beliefs, prepare before class, the chose of geography teaching methods, alternating during classed between teacher and student, materials handling, classroom assessment etc. Propose policies of improving the adaptability of the new curriculum of high school geography by educational practice, based on wealth of relevant theory. These policies include:establish correct curriculum resources views in developing, familiar with local geographical knowledge to deep the life geography, enhance the facilities compare to curriculum resources, reforms course management, strategy of mobilization of teachers to based research, develop good habits in preparing lessons, mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, implementation of new curriculum evaluation, conduct diversity training, strengthen the communicate between teacher and school,parents,students,other teachers, coordinate the relationship between the new curriculum and college entrance examination etc. And reflect on my own research, presented the needs to be improved in papers.Since the proposal of new curriculum to the gradual implementation, teachers' adaptability has always been an extremely concerned problem in education, the deviation between teachers' beliefs and behaviors is always been a long and arduous difficulties during the new curriculum implementation, so the high school geography teachers' adaptability under the new curriculum and the improvement measures will be the emphases and the orientation of the study. |
