An high effectiveness early English Immersion teacher is taken for case study in this thesis, and tried to see the following 2 points:a. The teaching characteristics of the high effectiveness teacher; b. Which characteristics should be included in effective instruction of early English Immersion. The important meaning of this study is to provide a basic reference for teachers to diagnose and improve their teaching behavior, to promote their professional development. So that more and more children will enjoy high quality of English Immersion teaching.This study consists of the following aspects:1. The language development of children in the English Immersion teacher's class;2. Which characteristics the teaching shows in activity form;3. Which characteristics the teaching shows in content selection;4. How is the interaction between teacher and children, children themselves;5. The speech characteristics (quantified characteristics in class) of the teacher, and how children's language output is affected by teacher's input.The Researcher finally selected 7 teaching activities as sample from video materials collected through periodic tracking, to analyze early English Immersion effective teaching activities from qualitative aspects. In order to fully explain the issue, this study also investigate and analyze teacher's language situation,children r's language situation, and the mutual relationship of the two from quantitative aspects by CHILDES system.The conclusions of this thesis are:1. Intuitiveness, visualization,scene, game,and activity is the form characteristic of early English Immersion effective instruction;2. Early English Immersion completely can undertake challenging curriculum content, the key is to adjust the difficulty of the language;3. Open questions can increase children's participation;4. High effectiveness teacher and her children are presenting some stable characteristic on each index of the language;5. In early English Immersion effective instruction, teacher's output greatly affect children's input.
