With the increase of China’s comprehensive strength and international exchange frequency, nowadays, English language acquisition has been attached more importance, so English study among younger age attracts more and more attention from nursery schools, parents, and within the whole country.English immersion education for children is a revolutionary reform during the course of second language teaching. Since1997experimented in Xi’an, it has caused widely concern from international education institution and professors with its unique innovation. As a conclusion of more than ten years research and development, it is more crucial to build a stable and qualified teaching team with those who care and love children, devote in nursery education and have the ability to carry out immersion teaching method than to be equipped with new and scientific education concept and design special teaching material based on early childhood education characteristics. Therefore, research for team construction and the corresponding suggestions and measures are significant for making progress and to guarantee the quality of teaching.With the study of existing results of construction of teachers’team and research of teaching staff, the practice to inspect English immersion education for children in nursery schools, the investigation of teaching team construction in Xi’an and the comprehension of the status quo, the growing process and experience of that, this paper provide appropriate measure and suggestion to nursery schools making full use of existing resource to build stable and high-leveled immersion teaching team, so to effectively enhance teachers’skill and promote team growth.Based on document, questionnaire, interview and other research method, the author surveyed and discussed with teachers of English immersion education for children in11nursery schools in Xi’an, and then analyzed3of them. After collecting the data and information, eventually, the author concluded some useful experience and advice. This paper includes five parts. Chapter one is introduction which shows subject background, objective and significance. Chapter two reviews the research and defines certain concept. Chapter three presents the detail of this research with content, method, object and process building the basic framework. Chapter four analyzes the results, which is divided into two parts. Part one gives information of the status quo of teaching team construction for English immersion education for children in Xi’an by questionnaire and interview results. Part two is case study.3nursery schools have been chosen so to conclude valuable experience by interview. Chapter five is conclusion offering measure and advice. First, employ regulation, which means to monitor and control the quality and quantity of teaching staff and perfect talent introduction system. Second, training, i.e., offering varies training opportunity to teaching staff before and after employment. Third, value construction. It can help to promote teachers’ self-development. Forth, culture construction. Special school culture can provide more space for teaching staff to make creation. Finally, teaching team construction. Enhance teaching skill and foster high-leveled teaching staff with selecting qualified leaders, setting up mutual object, strengthening team-work spirit, cultivating cooperation and collaboration, and forming a cooperative school culture.
