In modern society, images and video in the contemporary culture plays a more and more important role. Our world has entered the era of "visual culture". The visual culture marks human cultural forms and mode of transmission of conversion, the more means human understanding way, way of thinking and ideology in such aspects as has undergone earth-shaking changes, this inevitably will affect education, it is to bear the brunt of the features of art education vision. Since the 1990s, hold concurrently "image" and "culture" "anime" has become the most popular culture among teenagers one of fashion. Watch anime, painting anime, play anime (namely COSPLAY) has become the mainstream of the young students cultural entertainment. Shanghai region in 2003 of the anime teaching into junior art teaching category. But after seven years practice, middle anime teaching problems, therefore, the author in the visual culture background trying to cultivate students "animation teaching practice of visual literacy", strive to achieve animation teaching effectiveness.The visual culture art education multiple times endows new meaning, need to cultivate students form "visual literacy". "Visual conversational ability" is a kind of learning about life in human culture and the ability of visual information; "Visual expression ability" is a kind of visual perception by way of thinking, unique attitude and thinking mode, visual art forms of expression of thoughts and feelings, and solve problems in life and learning ability. And high-school art anime teaching in cultivating "visual literacy" to have the important meaning. According to the actual problems at animation teaching, the author carried out the animation and cartoon skill teaching practice, focus on "visual literacy for anime skill teaching, the students more clearly understand the cartoon as the essential characteristics of visual art, and can better apply the basic comic language and animation language to organize creating their original works to express their feelings and thoughts rich personality. But according to "anime culture" in the cartoon, carry out teaching constructivist teaching mode for basic framework, to guide the students to form the "learning community" sharing knowledge and using "visual animation starts ability" know anime history, distinguish "anime culture", finally using "visual expression ability" make class anime culture, and obtained a certain teaching effect, to the middle school art anime teaching provides effective of the theory and practice of the reference.
