Perspective Of Sustainable Development Carpool Behavior Research

Car-sharing is a way of travel among the white-collar which appears quietly in recent years. Its factors including people's aspects such as consumption,opinion, attitude ect. research and discuss the carpooling behavior and their life style from sustainable view have both great academic significance and reality guiding significance.This paper adopt the combining methods, i.e.:qualitative interviews and quantitative survey.Adopt the unique perspective of sustainable development, in a way of descriptive analysis of the dilemma of current travel conditions and constraints of "car-sharing" of Changsha people and to achieve sustainable travel modes. Through the research we can draw the conclusion that there are still many non-sustainable aspects of "car-sharing" travel mode of citizens. The conclusions can be stated as following:First, the differences between the public as a way of the main subjects of life exist corresponding impact on the behavior of carpool; second, people travel emphasis on convenience, economy, efficiency, and their behavior was positively related to carpool; Third, people who have higher level of scientific development concept in their daily life, who will use this way to travel more frequently; Fourth, the higher of public's trust degree is, the more possible for the public to choose this travel mode.The innovation of this study is:first, to study the social hot spots----the behavior of car-polling to research the city's sustainable development, and this behavior is also a kind of sustainable development which conducted the travel way and lifestyle from the relationship of human and resources, environment, ecology and social perspective, and abandon its research limitations from lifestyle itself, have an innovate angle.Second, combine the theory of sustainable development into the study of the city carpooling behavior (lifestyle), highlighted the content of development of sociology and sociology of traffic, integrate the content of economic development, to achieve the effective integration of economics and sociology, which make the research methods innovate. Third, this paper based on the case study of Chinese central city of Changsha, with a certain degree of representativeness. Thus supply a very strong reference for the other regions and provinces to implement the scientific concept of development, accelerate the process of social construction, in order to achieve sustainable development of cities.
