During the days of globalization now, the development of vocational education and the improvement of the quality of workers have been being crucial important to the world because of the increasingly competitive economy tend. Most countries have taken the measures of professionalizing the general education, that is to integrate vocational elements into all the subjects to help students get good preparation for their future as well as ensure the delivery of the talent and labour to society and market. Although vocational education in China has developed rapidly and secondary vocational education has gotten the attention, the problems on curricula provision of junior high school of country still exist under the control of University demand and the traditional values of emphasis on academic learning, having no practical use, the content of which lack of career guidance for students as well as concerns of a business start, ignoring the practical ability against the full development of students and stepping in to the society, even adverse to the society's harmony.United-Kingdom, as the similar culture of emphasis on arts with China, has made a great progression on professionalizing the general education and strengthening the relationship between vocational education and general education, like the comprehensive schools'vocational courses offering. All of these lessons and experiences are worthy of learning. This paper aims to follow the development and changes of vocational curriculum set of comprehensive school in UK(England and Wales in the paper) and the examples of the beginning, middle and nowadays three periods to exam the comprehensive schools how to act the role as undertaking the secondary vocational education of UK nearly half a century since the World WarⅡ,as well as the UK's contributions to both vocational education and general education.According to the clue, this paper consists of 5 parts. part 1 is the comprehensive school how to come to UK and its growing, which is as the background; part 2 is the school's vocational curriculum offering in the beginning and middle periods, which helps us know the historical status of the theme; then the core of the paper is part 3 and 4, which mainly describe the vocational courses provision in comprehensive schools nowadays like the vocational programme, its content, types, organizational forms and assessment, and summarize its characteristics,find the problems and analyse it in terms of the teenagers' physiology and psychology, and the relative curriculum theories. The last part is to draw the conclusion on the basis of the questions we have to face in ours junior school's curriculum provision through the comparison of UK an our country to get the valuable inspiration.
