With the increasing rapid development of globalization, multicultural education has been become a question of the whole world. In our "Chinese garden",multicultural education has been neglected for ages. Shortage of communication and interlocution appeared between the East and Western, especially in the field of multicultural education. For what we mentioned above, we should look for more valuable experience to develop Chinese multicultural education .United kingdom is the best country which country could provide theory and practice about multicultural education for our country.This article includes five parts.The first chapter introduces the meaning about multicultural curriculum. By defining the conceptions of multicultural curriculum, we can put multicultural curriculum into suitable language environment. By the perspectives of cultural analyze ,ecology and post-modernism, we stared a in-depth analysis of multicultural curriculum. This part is the most importance in this article which concerned people about later parts.The second chapter introduces the social background about multicultural education in United Kingdom, as well as including the development of the multicultural policies. This part palys an leading role in the artical, in that the later about curriculum set up will implement in the light of these policies.The third chapter is an important part which includes the objective to cultivate, the curriculum to set up and the way to practice in the United Kingdom. This part was organized as the thread of this: firstly, the production of other scholars was showed, then we introduced the objective to cultivate, the curriculum to set up and the way to practice. we tried to inspired the curiosity about the how the multicultural curriculum practiced in the classroom of United Kingdom?The forth chapter give answers. Three cases was showed in the following: Language education, Holocaust education and Citizen education. Instruction strategy and influence factors were reflected in these cases. Family, school and community, effective questions, classroom disscusion and games are the upper hand of magic weapon.The intention of this chapter was giving a intuitionistic cognition of multicultural curriculum in the United Kingdom.The fifth chapter mainly analyses the current situation that the multicultural education of shanghai, proceed the reason lacked with ideological roots and probe into multicultural education of Shanghai. The tradition of multicultural existed in shanghai for ages,as well as the advanced reform of curriculum is putting up here. An comparation between shanghai and London tells us the reason we choose Shanghai. At last ,the discussion of what can we get the experience from the United Kingdom was presented , thus we should reach the direction hard in the future to draw the multicultural education of shanghai.
