Mathematical education in preschool is the beginning and the important part of the mathematical education and is also being given more and more attention to.Since the 1980s,great changes have taken place in the mathematical education in preschool,but they didn't happen at the same time.In the most part of the Chinese preschools,the development of the mathematical education is very slow. From some relevant researches, there exist significant differences in the aspect of mathematics between the rural children and the urban children. Mathematical education in preschool is the major way that the kindergarteners have received mathematical education,the important place where the children's mathematical capability is gradually developed. The study that the proper teaching strategies will be seeked for to shorten the mathematical gap among the children between urban and rural areas is imperative under the situation.So I have made a comparative study of the children teachers from the city preschool and the town center preschool of ShanDong province A city on three aspects:the instructional design,the teaching organization and implement,the teaching reflection.And then I want to find out the discrimination between them and the advantages the teachers in the city have.Through the investigation I've educed the conclusion that the teachers in the city are better than the ones in the town on the instructional design,classroom management,teacher-child interaction, teaching reflection.When making the instructional design, the teachers in the city pay attention to the children and the information from the children,but the teachers in the town lay great emphasis on the textbook,the knowledge dissemination and the teaching objective implementation.During the classroom teaching,they did well in teaching import,however, the teachers in the city are better than the ones in the town on the others.Based on the differences,I make some recommendations to improve the ability of the teachers in the town and to narrow down the maths education gap between the children in urban and rural areas.
