With the vigorous development of our economy and society, the higher ed-ucation has been stepped into the stage. of mass development. More and more young people have the opportunity to go to college and receive the higher educa-tion. Nowadays, the main body of our college students were born after 1990. They grow up with the fast development of market economy. Under the influ-ence of marketization, globalization and networking, they are highly broad-minded and self-determinent. Meanwhile, they are active-minded, hard-work-ing and full of vigor and vitality. However, they have many shortcomings. For example,their faith is weak; they are lack of social responsibility; autism and utilitarianism are over-inflated; spirit blankness, bad accommodate compe-tence, vague study aim, and obstacle in personal communication can also be found in these younsters. Even worse, some of them has the problems of ab-normal psychology, crime., suicide and so on. These problems are the external expression of the problems of their values and psychology, which should highly be alerted. As the main content of mind and polity education in college, the values and the psychological health of the college students must be strengthened and improved.There are a lot of research on the value and psychological health education of college students. However the research on the practice of the combination of these two is little. There is a natural connection between value education and psychological health education, for both of these two aims to improve the healthy growth and the comprehensive development of the college students. The value education and psychological health education are interdependent and overlapped. On one hand, they cannot be seperated., on the other hand their status is different. The value education is the basic education. Without the right value, psychological problem cannot be solved ultimatedly. Whereas, without the related psychological health education, the value education will be too abstract to connect with the features of a certain person, which will finally affect the result of the value education. Only the right acknowledgement of their relationship and assortment of these two eduction can enhance the effect of the value education and psychological education of college students.The study analyse the current characteristics, the behave and the reason of value and psychology of the college students through literature survey, re-search, contrast of the information home and abroad, theory analysis and so on. The analysis focuses on the instruct idea, educational principle, educational means and the relation of the educational content. Then, the study puts for-ward the combination of the two in practice and the means to unite the two in the possible research and practice of oneself.The study consists of introduction and the body. In the part of introduc-tion, the thesis mainly study the research background, status in quo, aim, sig-nificance, structure and method. The body includes three parts. The first part gives the definition of the value education and psychological education of college students. Meanwhile the features, status and functions of the value education are explained in this part. Moreover in this part the thesis analyses and con-cludes the standard of the psychological health of the college students, the cur-rent psychological problems of the college students and the reasons that caused these problems. The second part explains the relationship between the value ed-ucation and psychological education of college students from four aspects that is the sameness in ultimate instruct idea, the assortment of the educational princi-ple, the commonness of the educational method and the interdependent of the educational content. Besides, this part studies and proves the possibility of the combination and practice of these two education. The third part discusses the need of the combination of value education and psychological health education of college students from three aspects that is the need of strengthen and improve the mind and political education in college, the need of solve the current realistic problems and the need of promote the education for all-round development. Mo-reover, this part studies the efficient ways to combine the value education and psychological health education from three aspects that is ideology change, inno-vation in educational methods and devices, cultivate talents of education for all-round development.
