Old Liangshan Yi Nationality System Present Liangshan Family Support Issues,

Major and minor Liangshan are collectively called Liangshan, lies in Sichuan province, and is the biggest Yi ethnic area and also a unique place which entered from slave society into social democracy society. Liangshan area abandoned slave system, disintegrated exploiting class and liberate production capability since democracy revolution had implemented in 1956. However, during the adjusting procedure between production capability and production relationships, former ideology and Jiazhi system would not be abolished for social system modification, not to mention jiazhi system involves some traditional culture of Yi ethnics to some degree, which has influenced philosophy, sense of worth and moral outlook of Yi people. Therefore, Jiazhi organizations and Jiazhi culture have revived in Liangshan Yi area after obstruction of the wrong political route of the left. Some Jiazhi culture belongs to normal category of traditional culture, while some interferes many aspects of social life and finally becomes the Jiazhi problem of Liangshan Yi society now. And if these problems are not treated seriously would be an adverse factor to the stabilization and development of Liangshan society. But thanks to the complexity between Jiazhi system and Jiazhi problems, only deeper investigation and analysis on resolution of current Jiazhi problem to Liangshan can we achieve the advantage. Therefore, the author considers we must clarify the relationship between the former Jiazhi system and current's for the former is the origin and condition to the latter, and the latter abandoned the class function while reserve some of social function. Only after clarification the relationship between them can we view the essence of Liangshan Jiazhi system, promote some suggestions and strategy objectively, boycott, and abolish determinedly some of backwardness like collective crime premeditated by Jiazhi. And we should regard the common Jiazhi sense between some traditional Jiazhi culture and broad masses objectively, guide rationally, and eliminate the adverse effects to the minimum. The mutual tanglement between traditional Jiazhi system and current Jiazhi system of Liangshan Yi society have influenced Liangshan society, and further investigation and revolution of this problem will be one of the long-term project in the ethnic minority issue in China.
