A country or region’s development on talents, whose training focuses on education, and teachers are the foundation of education."The implementation of the national long-term education reform and development plan outline"issued by Mainland China in2010says that we should have high quality teachers team.Taiwan and mainland area have the same cultural foundation and similar teacher education beginning.To compare with mainland area,the departure time early in economic development in Taiwan area, the degree of marketization relatively high, the world trend influence on teacher education system time early.So Taiwan area may meet the related issues earlier than mainland area.At present, the mainland area faced some teacher education problems, Taiwan may have been through, or are going through;Mainland area will be faced with, Taiwan may be on the experience.Taiwan has always attached great importance to teacher education, and the teacher education system has been formed.Across the current teacher education system in Taiwan, this paper analyzes the concrete contents, features of formation, present situation, the existing problems and puts forward the solution to it.On one hand To make advices for mainland area on a reasonable teacher education policy, on the one hand,as a reminder, don’t make similar mistakes.The research framework as follows:The first part is the introduction to the related concept, and introduces the origin、 the purpose、the methods and the significance of the research. Finally discusses the innovation of the research.On the second part, the research analyzed the background of diversification teacher education system of Taiwan. For the release of political, economic boom,the diversity of culture and shortage of teacher in Taiwan region,especially the world economic crisis in the1970s led to Taiwanese prefer teachers’ professional. At the same time,open and diversification became world teachers’ education trend which influence on Taiwan teacher education deeply.The third part of the paper expatiate on teacher education of frame, content and characteristics of Taiwan.Taiwan teacher education system mainly comprise of "Teacher Education Law"(1994),"Pedagogic Law"(1995)and"The Detailed Rules for The Implementation of Teacher Education Law (revised in2009), and"The Measure for University To Set up A Teacher Education Center"(revised in2003). Main features of Taiwan teacher education system include teacher education institutions diversity; Value education practice and put education practice into the teacher education course, and encourage active participation in the multilateral institutions;Establish substantial teachers’ qualification verification system, etc.The fourth part mainly analyzed the process of implementation of existing and the possible problems in Taiwan teacher education system.Teacher education policy reform prospective shortage, lack of long-effect mechanism, the diversified teachereducation system implementing the problem early highlights;The level of Teacher education institutions are diferent, and It’s hard to realize the goal to cultivate outstanding teachers;Teacher resources supply and demand imbalance,"stray teacher" problem are serious;Practice system variable, the effect of the practice failed to effectively.The fifth part is the strategy to solve the Taiwan teacher education problem.Including clear the realistic situation of teacher education, establish a long-term effective mechanism of teacher education;Improve teacher training institutions establishment standard, improve the teachers’ evaluation system, make full use of normal university resources and cultivate education master; To do exactly research planning and control teacher’s quantity;To distribute teacher education grants Reasonably to attract good students and improve the future of teacher quality;Provide sufficient funds for teaching practice and stimulate the internship institution enthusiasm to guarantee the practical effect.
