| At present, China is implementing"A Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers"(PETOE), the training of outstanding engineers is depended on the outstanding university teachers of Engineering. So the specialization of the university teachers of engineering is essential to the Training of "PETOE".At the same time, to construct human resource and innovative country, the in-depth research on the specialization of the university teachers of Engineering also has very important practical significance.The research of the specialization of university teachers start from the universal, it is combined with the characters of the university teachers of Engineering. With the methods of documentary research, investigation (interview), based on the research of the specialization of the university teachers, the author integrates the specialization of teachers with the specialization of the university teachers of engineering, and illustrates the intension, growth stage, reality dilemmas and problems, growth strategies of the university teachers of engineering systematically. The author also puts forward the different development strategies of individuals and professional groups of the university teachers of Engineering.The innovation of this article is that the author defines the intension and character of the specialization of university teachers, proposes the character of the specialization of university teachers of engineering:engineering practice, technology innovation, engineering international, humanities and social literacy. At the same time, the author thinks that the growth stage is a gradual process. It is generalized as five stages:the period of accumulation of knowledge of engineering.the adaptive period of university teachers ’posts, the elevated period of educational capacity of engineering, the mature period of comprehensive quality of engineering, the famous period of engineering field. By analysing the process and factors of the university teachers of engineering, the author puts forward important factors the relationship between individuals and professional groups of the university teachers of engineering is important factor. |
