China is a multi-ethnic country, so it needs thediversified education. China has rich cultural connotationson minorities and Minority Traditional Sports is a microcosmof the national culture. With the modernization development,the lifestyle of Chinese ethnic minority community hastremendous change and the Chinese minority is losing itworkforce, which resulted in the inheritance and developmentof ethnic minority traditional sports seriously lagging behind.Our ethnic culture and heritage should be diversified so thatit can promote sustainable development for minority culture.To open a Minority Traditional Sports class in Middle Schoolis an alternative path to the development of national culturalheritage, so it deserves our researching.The Ninth Minority Games and Colorful Guizhou’s successbrings opportunities for the development of ethnic minoritiestraditional sports in Guizhou Province. Introducing theMinority Traditional Sports to the school based curriculum isthe inheritance and development for traditional minoritysports. Our goal is to make students familiar with traditionalcultural and sports activities, and eliminate prejudice against minorities so that we can enhance students’ culturalidentity for ethnic minorities. The Introduction oftraditional ethnic sports to school can train students’multicultural literacy foundation. Because the heritage ofminority traditional is sports is lagging behind. That theMinority Traditional Sports introduced into schools as a schoolphysical education, is also another way of Minority TraditionalSports inheritance and development, it also can play animportant role on uniting minorities.This article is the case study of school based curriculumon minority traditional sports which illustrated by the Caseof Guiyang No.2High School. The author try to build theframework of the theory and practice which is the developmentof minority sports tradition physical school-based curriculum,it can provide a reference to the implementation of minoritytraditional sports-based curriculum.
