With the development of positive psychology, the positive strength has been paid moreand more attention.Anti-frustration Ability has attracted much attention in the study of thepsychological development of young people as a ego strength.Teenagers are a specialgroup,which have special mental performance and behavior in facing setbacks.Sufferingsetbacks is very common for young people,coupled with their sensitive heart and intensefeelings of setback,which makes an increasing number of psychological problems.The mainenvironment for growth of young people is the family, family environment and the formationof anti-frustration ability are inseparable.How to help young people to fight setbacks anddevelop a positive force is very important for middle school students’ development.This paper mainly discussed the status of students’Anti-frustration Ability,the familyinfuence on students’Anti-frustration Ability and what affects the ability of resisting setbackamong family environment.The survey tools in this paper are the Anti-frustrationAbilityability survey which recently produced by Liu zhi-jun,MSHS compiled by Chenshu-rong and Wang jing,and FES compiled by Fei li-peng,which has investigated622middleschool students in hunan province.The validity of the questionnaire has been measured byfactor analysis;then Students’ Frustration resistance were analyzed in demographic variablesusing t-test and analysis of variance;finally,the relationships among the sense of humor,familyenvironment and frustration resistance of high school students were analyzed usingcorrelation analysis and regression analysis.The results showed that:(1)The survey of Students’ Frustration resistance was reliableand validity;(2)The resisting setbacks ability of middle school students showed significantdifference in sex,different grades and mother’ work,and no significant difference in Place ofresidence,single children,parent’s education and father’s occupation;(3)The sense of humorand family environment had signifieant relationship with students’ frustration resistance;(4)The sense of humor has mediating effect between family environment and students’frustration resistance,the effect is very significant.Therefore,in the family education,we can enhance Anti-frustration Ability through thecultivation of students’ frustration cognition,the emotion regulation ability and social supportseeking ways, through the establishment of the harmonious quality family environment,throu-gh the cultivation of a sense of humor.
