| Anti-frustration ability is the adaptability to frustration feelings, it is the tolerance whenindividual suffers from distresses or failures, he can steel himself against hits and pressures,and get rid of the plight and solution which can avoid psychological behavior disorders. At aword, it is the ability of defending frustration, resisting frustration or adapting to frustration.As the younger generation, university students not only should have profound knowledge,gracious morals and solid professional knowledge, but also have health and the spirit ofself-improvement. However, university students’ ability of anti-frustration is at a low level.When they suffer from frustration, they will easily fall into the bad mood, even trend toextreme. So we must find out the current situation of the university students’ ability ofanti-frustration and understand the importance of improving university students’ ability ofanti-frustration. Then discovering the facts which affect the ability of anti-frustration. Finally,exploring the measures of increasing university students’ ability of anti-frustration.This research is starting from the concepts of frustration and anti-frustration, then weinvestigate437university students about their ability of anti-frustration. The data which weobtained will be analyzed by SPSS. We obtain the following results:1. The overall level ofuniversity students’ anti-frustration ability is in general state, nearly half of the students’anti-frustration is not strong.2. Senior students’ anti-frustration ability is significantly lowerthan the other grade students.3. The bigger academic pressures university students possess,the weaker anti-frustration ability they have.4. The bigger employment pressures universitystudents possess, the weaker anti-frustration ability they have.5. The more interpersonalrelationship disturbances university students possess, the weaker anti-frustration ability theyhave.6. The university students who have left-behind experience is weaker than the studentwho have no left-behind experience on anti-frustration ability.7. When parents’ expectationdoes not comply with their children’s ability, their children’s anti-frustration ability will beweak.8. The lower degree of education parents’ own, the weaker anti-frustration ability theirchildren have.9. The poorer family atmosphere is, the weaker anti-frustration ability studentshave.10. There is no difference between boys and girls, Whether a child or not and Whether astudent cadres or not on anti-frustration ability.This study is based on the results of the investigation. we should make sure that the lowanti-frustration ability reality demand anti-frustration ability training. Anti-frustration ability training also have a positive influence to better personality, even it is the need of the societydevelopment. So under this importance and urgency of anti-frustration ability training.Through four perspectives, such as university students own factors, family factors, schoolfactors and social facts, we find out the reasons why university students’ anti-frustrationability is not strong. Finally, starting from the four aspects of the students themselves, family,school and society to exploring the effective measures and methods for improving theuniversity students’ anti-frustration ability. |
