Research On The Reform Of College Students' Apartment Management From The Perspective Of Public Administration

With the gradual implementation of the university logistics socialization reform,the management of college student apartment has undergone enormous changes. Facingthe management of college student apartment under the new situation, managers mustresearch, explore and reform the current work manners and methods from a higherstarting point, applying the more advanced management concepts, more perfectmanagement system and more scientific management methods to the management ofthe student apartment in practice.This thesis explores and research on the reformation of the management of thecollege student apartment from the perspective of public management. Firstly, itproposes the purpose and significance of the research and carries out a detailed analysisof the present situation of this research from abroad and home to determine the thinkingand working methods of the research, in order to address how the public managementtheory and methods are applied to the problems of the college dormitory management inpractice. Secondly, the historical process of the management of Chinese college studentsapartment are described to determine the status and functions of the management of thecollege student apartment; a typical analysis of the management model of the collegestudent apartment are made; a reflection for the achievements and experiences of thereformation of the college student apartment management are in process. Again, asystematic analysis of the currently existing and highlighting problems and causes ofthe college student apartment management found that the lag of the managementphilosophy, the morbidity of the administrative organization, the barbarism of thesupervisor mode, the unfulfillment of the management system and the irrationality ofthe management process design were the main reason for the low inefficiency andineffective effort of the college student apartment management. Finally, the countermeasures for research on the college student apartment management from theperspective of public administration are proposed. It suggests that total quality control,entrepreneurial government theory, benchmarking technology, business processreengineering theory will be applied to the management of the student apartment.Through the implementation of improving management process design, humanresources development and excitation mechanism of the management of the collegestudent apartment and advancing the integration of ideological and political education(IPE) for college students, thus the reformation of the management of the collegestudent apartment is completed.
