In recent years, with the development of society and educational reform,secondary education has started to actively explore the transformation of methods ofteaching and new teaching pattern. Jinghua No.1Middle School in ZheJiang province,Xinjiang Middle School in Shanxi province, Changle No.2Middle School in Shangdongand Yangsi Middle School in Jiangsu province have each adopted the pattern ofguided learning plan and thus started their reform earlier. Huashi Senior MiddleSchool in Jiangyin city where the author works also follows the trend and hasconducted the research on the pattern of guided learning plan. But as the reform ofteaching develops, many teachers have found a few problems, which can beclassified into the following three aspects.1、From the aspect of leaders, they lack awareness of application of this newpattern in different subject and value the evaluation of results most—scores of tests,ignoring the process evaluation.2、As far as teachers are concerned, they lack awareness of designing the guidedlearning plan, for example they mix the guided learning plan up with teaching plan orprepare many exercises in guided learning plan without enough instruction abouthow to think. As to using the guide plan, some teachers dont pay attention tostudents predominant position and cant fully carry out activities in discussion andpresentation or be targeted in tutoring students.3、As far as the construction of groups, the research of group work is ratherprimary, which isn’t beneficial to the cultivation of individual study and the sprits ofteamwork.After referring to some relevant articles, the author has found most researchfocuses on the theoretic study of this kind of teaching pattern and universal strategicstudy, which is not targeted at the subject of history. What’s more, there are fewessays which can both meet the requirements of College Entrance Examination ofJiangsu Province and are intended for this kind of teaching pattern.Therefore, this article is set in the research of guided learning plan in Huashi Senior Middle School in Jiangyin city, combining theories of humanism,constructivism, cognitive psychology and etc and researches into designing of guidedlearning plan and application in Senior Three through consulting documents,conducting surveys and doing case study. This research is aimed at finding thepotential problems in three levels including leaders, teachers and construction ofstudents’ group and then putting forward measures for improvement.As school leaders, they should promote the development of reform of teachingand learning, transform the evaluation of teaching activities and arouse the teachers’motivation in thinking and practice. Teachers should learn some theories, practicetheir understanding in practice and reflect timely. Students should increase theawareness of cooperation and being active learners and improve them in the processof using guided learning plan.
