The classroom as the main place children will play daily activities, the creation of its wall environment, is the important part of environment creation in kindergarten. The wall environment creation not only embodies the education ideas and culture, and plays a great role in education. While, how is the status of wall environment creation in kindergarten classes now? And what kind of problems exists? Following the above questions, the researcher shoots and analyzes the wall environment of ten kindergarten classes of different levels in Nanjing city of Jiangsu Province, by adopting such methods as observation method, case analysis, and interviewing method. Taking the kids and teachers who create the wall environment as the study objects, nine teachers respectively from the bottom, middle and top classes of one demonstration kindergarten and one common kindergarten are selected to be interviewed. Based on the above study, the effects and problems of wall environment creation are mainly analyzed, and the education suggestions for its existing problems are proposed.The study shows that some positive results are obtained in the process of wall environment creation. To begin with, the wall environment creation displays the characteristics of the various types and rich contents; secondly, the wall environment creation of kindergarten classes is suitable for children at different ages; thirdly, the infants’ participation degree in the wall environment creation is increasing; fourthly, the wall environment creation displays its diverse education functions.There still exist some problems in the process of wall environment creation. Firstly, such kind of phenomenon as the patchwork of contents, the ambiguous educational goals and the imbalances of contents are shown in the wall environment creation; secondly, the presentation of wall environment creation with static and flat features is dominant; thirdly, the children’ principal position is not well demonstrated; fourthly, the main source of materials for wall environment creation is simple; fifthly, the functions of wall environment creation are not fully reflected and the embodiment of its individual education function is vague.Focusing on the problems of wall environment creation found in the research, this study proposes some educational recommendations. Firstly, the content purposes of wall environment creation should be explicit; secondly, the operation degree of wall environment creation shall be raised; thirdly, the children’ process participation degree should be improved; fourthly, the material channels for various types of wall environment creation should be explored and the use of parental resources shall be emphasized.
