As one of the important factors in the kindergarten environment, wall environment has subtle influence to children’s growth and development. And if the wall environment can affect young children depends on the children’s choice, so we should create their favorite wall environment. Under the present situation that scholars advocate that education should consider the perspective of children but society is lack of the study about children’s favorite wall environment, I think my study about this is very necessary.This study selected three large classes from three kindergartens in Chengdu. I selected 10 children to do the interview in each class, and observed all the children’s interaction with the wall environment in each class. Research results showed that: in the static conditions, children like a wide range of subjects that they are familiar, but their favorite one is the cartoon; they hope the text in the wall is Chinese; they have a strong color inclusiveness, and like many bright colors in the all; they want wall hangings in the wall and the wall hangings are more sparse with a suitable layout; they like the shiny, realistic and durable material, also accept the hangings that bought from market; they want to retain the pendant with suitable length and they can play them. In dynamic conditions, children want to have a small area of the wall which can be played; they want to participate in the design and production of the wall environment, and their design and production can extend the time to replace; they will interact with their own work in the wall in the convert time and they can learn a lot from this interaction, but this interaction is often short-lived and always be interrupted. It displays a comprehensive children favorite wall environment that for us.Using the children’s perspective to see the present wall environment, we can find that:Teachers choose the familiar themes for children especially the cartoon theme, use the rich wall decoration, use bright and warm color, display children’s works on the wall. These aspects are fit on the child’s preferences. Yet these conditions including the English on the wall, materials like cloth and paper, short hanging, useless boring game in the wall, being refused to participate in the design and manufacture of wall environment, are contrary to the child’s wish.And then the kindergarten teacher can consider those recommendations.: keep the neat and orderly wall environment; Make full use of the blank wall; Representation more young children’s works in the wall; The wall can provide more children operation environment; get rid of “the useless wall ", open more the "taboo wall "; Creating wall environment step by step together with the children; Give children more time to interact with wall and join them; Replace seat make children have fair access to each side wall; Appropriately prolong the wall environment’s change time; Use Chinese in the wall as far as possible.
