Environment can change personalities as well as shape them.A nice suitable environment is crucial to a person’s growth and development.The main stage for children in kindergartens is classrooms,and the walls in classrooms have important education effect to children.So how is the current situation of the wall creation in kindergarten’s classroom?What are the achievements and the problems in wall creation?And how to make a more suitable wall design for classroom?The author brought up with these questions and did some researches according to the practice in kindergarten’s classroom wall design.This study is based on the research which the author has done for the A kindergarten in Harbin with the method of observation,interview and object gathering.The main purpose of this study is to discover the existing issues in kindergarten wall creation,and make suggestions based on these issues.This study includes five parts.Chapter 1,Introduction.Analyze the basis of the selected topic and the significance of the research,do a review of the relevant literature and define the relevant concepts,and explain the theoretical basis.In this chapter,the author briefly introduced the creation of wall environment,analyzed and defined relevant theoretical foundations and concepts.Chapter 2,Research Design.The author introduces the research ideas,research outcomes,research objects and research methods,and constructs the basic framework of this research.The third chapter analyzes the current situation,problems and cause analysis of kindergarten wall class creation.The author analyzes the creation of the class wall environment in the A kindergarten through observation and interview methods,sums up the achievements and problems,and draws conclusions.Chapter 4,Educational Suggestions.The author briefly analyzed the main reasons for the problem.Aiming at the problems existing in the creation of classroom wall environment in A kindergarten,six feasible educational suggestions were proposed.Chapter 5,Study Reflections.The research objects,research methods and research conclusions were analyzed and reflected.Research shows that at present,some positive results have been achieved in the creation of kindergarten class wall surfaces.First,based on the needs and interests of young children in content selection,the content created in the wall environment is rich and varied.Second,the types of materials used to create a wall environment are diverse and open-ended.Third,in the form of presentation,it can be changed according to the theme and content,and the wall is both ornamental and operational.Fourth,covers a variety of educational functions,especially with unique aesthetic features.There are also some problems in the creation of kindergarten class wall environment.First,in terms of content selection,the fields are relatively single,the educational goals are not clear enough,and there is a situation where the content does not match the theme.Second,in the use of materials,the source of the materials is single,the use of materials lacks deep processing,and the proportion of various materials used is not uniform.Third,in the form of presentation,"static creation" is the main theme.The lack of changes in the wall environment is not dynamic.Fourth,the emphasis on aesthetics in education functions,the creation of decorative wall surfaces is more common,resulting in the waste of wall education resources and inefficient use.In addition,the main body status of young children in the creation of the whole kindergarten class wall environment is inadequate,and the degree of participation is relatively low.In response to the problems in the creation of kindergarten class wall environment,the author put forward six suggestions for education.First,teachers should correct the concepts created in the classroom wall environment and enhance the ability to create the environment.Second,the goal of creating a classroom wall environment should be clarified,and appropriate themes and contents should be selected.Third,enrich the types and sources of material for the creation of class wall environment and pay attention to the use of parent resources.Fourth,the multiple functions of the classroom wall environment are used to make the walls both decorative and functional.Fifth,highlight the main position of young children and increase their participation.Sixth,kindergartens should improve the evaluation system for the creation of classroom wall environment.
