Critical thinking plays a crucial role in terms of people’s learning, cognitive development and information processing. Primary and secondary education should pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ critical thinking. But if we want to develop students’ critical thinking, teachers must have critical thinking disposition first. Art discipline is the important courses to develop critical thinking. Especially we set a higher requirement for art teaching in the new era, such as art teaching should face all students and improve the critical aesthetic ability. In order to ensure that the art courses adapt to the needs of improving students’ critical thinking and creative thinking quality, the art teachers of primary and secondary school must possess critical thinking disposition.This paper analyzes the critical thinking disposition of art teachers of primary and secondary school in Qixia District through field observations and interviews. Try to analyse the reasons and then design the targeted five training paths. And put the paths to empirical research and do case tracking to verify the feasibility of the paths to improve art teachers’critical thinking disposition.Firstly, this paper elaborates the art teacher’critical thinking diposition. And then analyzes and summarizes the art teachers’critical thinking disposition be reflected in what areas. Secondly, combining the areas, this paper analysis the current situation and the reasons of lack of critical thinking disposition. Thirdly, by establishing a communication platform, participating in observation activities, creating exchange of resources, forming learning tasks and debating, the five paths of critical thinking disposition training are proposed. Finally, Through empirical research in the area, and tracking the training effect of one team, the effectiveness of the five training paths are verified.
