With the intense competition in the education and training market, MBA program in most business schools in China show homogeneity. The traditional degree-oriented development strategy is not conducive to the sustainable development of MBA education. Meanwhile, the rise of online business schools, corporate business schools, and training institutions hinders the MBA programs from receiving students of good quality and from its own long-term advancement. The N Business School, the leader in the education industry, has to improve its popularity and reputation. The thesis constructs the progress strategy to upgrade the competitiveness of the MBA education in N Business School and help solve the problems in MBA program in N Business School.The thesis adopts the method of investigation. In addition to the theories and available data, the author obtained the first-hand information from China’s11representative MBA programs. The thesis categorizes these programs, compares the pros and cons of these type, and summarizes the general features of Chinese MBA education.Secondly, the thesis from multiple perspectives encapsulates the characteristics MBA programs possess and the current challenges they face, analyzes the components of competitiveness, and proposes the strategy to enhance the competitiveness. The analysis is based upon the market data and other information pertaining to MBA program of N Business School. It lays a theoretical foundation to build the competitiveness model for N Business School.Finally, the author applied the strategies proposed to the N Business School’s reform and development. The comprehensive reform and innovation include the positioning and mission, faculty training, curriculum, online classes and the brand building. They prove to be effective ways to enhance the competitiveness of MBA education. The thesis provides new empirical research for the reform and innovation of MBA education.
