Since the first public international school established in1980,the international school industry has developed for 40 years.With the development of the society,our families pay more attention to the acquisition of knowledge and education cognition of their children than ever before,and the family groups with higher living standards are increasing as well;at the same time,the phenomenon of studying abroad at a younger age is becoming obvious in China,and the object of international education is gradually covering k12 education and academic education.In particular,in 2013,the Ministry of Education issued " the interim management method for international projects in senior high school",which formally tightened the enrollment quota and application conditions of public international schools.This policy has made private schools gradually become the main participants in the national standard education market,among which maple leaf Education System has become the leader of famous international schools in k12 education due to its rapid development.This paper takes Maple Leaf Education System as the research object,investigating the teaching environment and school running philosophy.First,Combined with the industry characteristics of international education,it analyses the development status and status of the education group through Porter's "Five Forces Model",identifying its elements of external competitiveness.Then,Based on the value chain theory,it analyses the value creation process of each link in the Maple Leaf Education System,and decomposes the logical structure of each link,identifying its elements of internal core competitiveness.Finally,through the analytic hierarchy process,this papers determines the core competitiveness system of Maple Leaf Education System,points out that the two indicators in this system:the talent training ability and human resources part,whose scores are too low,having problems and deficiencies,and proposes two ways to improve its core strategy.The external strategy is to strengthen cooperation with the outside and the integration of external resources;the internal strategy is to strengthen the construction of courses and teachers to improve management capabilities.
