The middle school language teaching writing has been a chronic problem of Chinese teaching. Although there are lots of researches on teaching writing, that cannot be relieved many problems. In view of the teacher in writing have many remarkable achievements, and there are a lot of teaching methods for us to learn, we choose several teachers of the Soviet Union to the middle school language teacher for the study, collecting their teaching cases, ideas and achievements in the teaching of writing, and thus explore the overall style of teaching writing and their traits on teaching, and finally make a revelatory conclusion.This thesis is divided into four parts, including an introduction, the first, second and third chapters. The introduction tells us the reasons of the topic, explaining the significance of the topic, reviewing previous research on this topic. The first chapter analyzes traits of four teachers and shows their main ideas and ways on their composition by studying their teaching methods. The second chapter is explored their overall characteristics in writing, including the common features and different views, showing the overall style on the basis of studying the first chapter. The third chapter is a summary of inspirations gived by those teachers on the composition teaching, giving us some angles and methods we can think and learn.
