| PBL model is a kind of teaching method that is guided by ill-structured problem and let students learn knowledge and ability through independent study method and cooperation study method. The model emphasizes the dominant position of students, focusing on inquiries study, cooperative learning. The method is put forward by Woods and Barros when they taught the course in Ma McMaster University. The model has been widespread concerned, then be applied to a number of subject areas. The overall goal of New Curriculum Standards of primary School English Compulsory Education proposed" To actively engage in inquiry learning, stimulate imagination and creative potential, to learn and use the language in practice, actively guide a student to wield the learning method acting on self’s own, working together.""Chinese is a practical course, paying attention to promote students’practice ability."so PBL model and philosophy of language teaching has a high degree of fit, but the studies about PBL model in the Reading teaching of Chinese is not much.Based on the principle of the PBL model, this paper points the problems existing in the reading teaching of Chinese reading in the high grade of primary school, and analysis of the necessity of PBL mode in high grade of Chinese reading teaching. Combining the characteristics of Chinese subject, paper constructs the specific operational procedures of PBL model in Chinese reading teaching.The model is applied to the high grade of primary school Chinese reading class,for the formation of PBL mode teaching case. The effect of PBL model in Chinese reading teaching is found by action research observation, interviews.Through the summary and reflection on the teaching practice, I expound the effect in process of PBL model in practical application. The positive effect is manifested in the learning of students and the ways of teaching. In the aspect of students’learning, PBL model improves the students’interest in Chinese learning, enhancing the initiative of students’ Chinese study, stimulating student’s deep text comprehension, and enhancing the Chinese accomplishment. In terms of teacher’s teaching, PBL model enhanc es teachers’ professional development consciousness, warming classroom atmosphere. This article reveals the positive effect of PBL teaching, also for teaching with PBL pattern lengt h, out of expected behavior in classes, and the imbalance of the cooperation degree of prob lem, putting forward the strategies of the improvement, which to more effectively promote the PBL mode applied in the primary school Chinese senior reading teaching to provide the reference. |
