In2012, Britain enacted a new "national science curriculum standards", the Chinese Ministry of Education issued a "full-time compulsory education science (grade3-6) curriculum standards (trial version)" in2001, this is the first promulgated elementary level science curriculum standards in China. In1988, Britain made the Science course as one of the three national core curriculum, giving full attention; while Chinese new standard in2001also placed the science education in an important role, which can not be ignored. This thesis enacts a comparative analysis of primary school science curriculum standards between Britain in2001and China in2012, aiming at discovering revelation, based on primary school science curriculum standards in British, to China.In this article; the first part to the fourth part is the comparison and analysis of the latest issued primary science curriculum standards by Britain and China, successively comparing from the guiding ideology, course objectives, course content and curriculum implementation of several recommendations. After detailed and specific comparisons and overall analysis, this paper in fifth part briefly describes the revelation of the new reform of primary science curriculum in China and makes some immature suggestions:make science education from junior, pay attention to the coherence and integration between various curriculum, science inquiry to the elementary students’ daily life, set up more specific and detailed science curriculum objectives and set up a more targeted elementary school science education content.
