As the importance of early childhood education to the children, families and society emerging and the social demand for early childhood education increasing, many countries in the world have taken more and more attention to the study of early childhood education and the government management. By enlarging the investment and strengthening the legislation, the responsibility of the government in the development of early childhood education has been emphasized.However, Compared with the developed countries in the world, the development of early childhood education in our country is quite slow, there is still a serious imbalance between the urban and suburban areas, and from place to place. In addition, the function of government in the development of early childhood education is not adequate. Based on the present situation of Our national early childhood education, taking the case in Yangzhou city as the major research target, this paper adopts the approaches of literature review, research and study, as well as comparison and analysis to provide an objective description and theological analysis of the government’s function in the development of early childhood education in our country. Through the analysis, the conclusion has been drawn that the development of the early childhood education in Our country requires the government to play an important part. Legislation in turn carl strengthen the corresponding government’s function in the development of childhood education, establish a relatively stable financial input system, and make the proper use of the resources. The supervising and evaluative system of our early childhood education can be perfected at the same time.This paper attempts to provoke the discussion of the topic of the government function in the development of our early childhood education from a practical level.
