The encouragement of adopting difficult movements in new Taekwondo rulesmeans the higher requirements on athletes’ training and also for the coaches, it needsricher, more scientific and rational training methods. In recent years, the core strengthhas got many coaches’ attention because it can greatly improve the stability of theathletes’ actions. The idea and method of core strength training is gradually accepted bycoaches and athletes from different many projects. Core strength training is specializedsports practice for athletes’ little secondary muscle and muscles around the joints. The definition of thecore strength training refers to the strength training of the deep and superficial layer ofmuscles.Second, core strength training can improve the technical stability and the physicalcoordination of the Taekwondo athletes so that it can decrease the energy output and prevent sports injuries.Third, Taekwondo core strength evaluation methods include the methodology ofthe core stability, core strength training methods, recovery training methods. These threeways complement each otherFourth, the core strength method of Taekwondo should be adjusted according tothe trainees, the different training phase, meanwhile in conjunction with the specificstrength.Fifth, core strength training of Taekwondo must follow the same principles ofcompetition requirement, of combination dynamic with static strength training, ofcombining the evaluation and training, of the development of the core stability as wellas the muscle strength, and the one of appropriate restoration.
