As for training elementary school teachers of higher normal colleges and universities, should shoulder the significant mission. In recent years, the development of teacher education in China has made great progress, the reform of teacher education curriculum by working, as the basis for our country brings up a batch of and a group of outstanding education of primary and secondary school teachers. At present, our country the8th curriculum reform of basic education field, is the foundation of education to meet the needs of times development and the social a profound change. Basic education curriculum under the guidance of the new curriculum idea, the course content and curriculum structure have the brand-new change. Primary school education in colleges and universities undergraduate as the main body of training primary school teachers, from the initial set up to now the steady development has made significant achievements, but there are a lot of problems in the curriculum. In order to be able to meet the needs of the elementary education curriculum reform and the healthy development of the teacher education, improve the primary school education undergraduate curriculum has been becoming the author choose the subject of a major power.This study is based on the background of new basic education curriculum reform and the characteristics and current situation of the development of primary school education professional, through the three regions in our country and the different categories of primary school education undergraduate courses of higher education present situation analysis, found that there were problems, and puts forward some specific improvements. Paper is divided into five parts.The first part:starting from the background of new basic education curriculum reform, according to the characteristics of the primary school education professional and personal feelings of primary school education professional, to promote the construction of primary education major and realize reasonable curriculum as the fundamental purpose, put forward the research background of this study, research methods and research significance.
