Known as traditional cultural treasures in China, ancient novels have played acrucial role in helping students learn the essence of traditional culture,have an insightinto the context of our society and history, improve capability in aesthetic judgment aswell as purify inner thought, thus enhancing literary accomplishment.Currentlyteaching and research of ancient novel is almost general theory only, with no attentionto the particularity of the ancient novel. And most studies have only concerned aboutteaching methods, lack of research teaching content.This article focuses on teaching content of the ancient novel, research rfom twoaspects:First,to analyzed the status of teaching content and ancient novels problem interms of the curriculum,teaching materials,teaching three levels.Second,from theperspective of teaching,teaching ancient novels made to improve the content of anumber of recommendations.Paper consists of four parts:The first part of the ifrst chapter of the thesis, including the proposed definitionof the problem, the contents of the study,methods, frameworks, purpose, meaning andcore concepts.The second part concerns the ancient novel situation and problems of teachingcontent,which includes three chapters.The second chapter, using text analysismethod,respectivel"y,of Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards (2011edition)”,"common language curriculum standards (experi"mental) and secondary languagenovels of ancient textbooks analyzed selected text.“Curriculum standards “is notclearly defined curriculum ancient novels.Ancient Chinese textbook knowledgenovels mainly general theory of ancient novels. The third and fourth chapters usingLesson analysis, the level of analysis from the current situation and problems ofteaching ancient novel teaching content. By lesson commentary, teaching contentfound classical novels,there is emphasis on classical knowledge of teaching and teaching content on positioning wavering problems. By lesson commentary, teachingcontent found in ancient vernacular novels, there is teaching and content placementstylized tendencies,"label" type of character image analysis problems.Part three, chapter V of the paper, give the advices to improve the teaching ofancient fiction content. This document suggests two ways to improve. A clearlyidentified in ancient novels based teaching content; Second, learn from the experienceof outstanding lessons.The fourth part is the conclusion, summairze research conclusions.
