The implementation of whole book reading teaching is of great importance to the development of students’ core literacy.But at present,the reading condition of high school students is low in quantity and quality.It despises the reading of excellent ancient novels.As the treasure of Chinese culture,the ancient novel is a treasure of Chinese culture.Its ideological connotation and language form are worth learning from high school students.Therefore,this paper defines the whole book reading research object in the ancient novel style,and tries to summarize the teaching strategies that conform to the actual teaching situation in high school.First,define the concept of "reading strategy for the whole book of senior high school novels".By guiding the high school students’ reading and writing period from the ancient time to the 54 Movement of 1919,the outstanding ancient novels,which are about one hundred thousand words,have great structure,complicated plot and many characters,help the students to build personal reading experience and form good reading habits so as to promote the overall development of the core literacy of high school students.The teaching strategy of the exhibition.Secondly,from the two aspects of teachers’ teaching value and students’ learning significance,this paper expounds the teaching value of ancient novel’s whole book reading.Again,the investigation and analysis of the current senior high school novels in the whole book reading teaching of the existing problems,from the teaching situation of teachers,teachers’ teaching attitude utilitarianism,teaching model rigid.From the perspective of students’ reading,students lack interest in reading ancient novels and superficial reading results after reading ancient novels.And summarizes the problems from two aspects,teachers and students.Finally,teaching strategies are put forward from two dimensions: teachers and students.Teachers should change their teaching attitude and enhance their professional attainment.The two is to explain the obscure words,reduce reading barriers,watch films and television works,listen to books,read,set suspense,with the help of the influence of the work to stimulate students’ reading interest.The three is to use theme teaching mode to guide the reading of an ancient novel,and to grasp the text features of many ancient novels.Four is the evaluation of the reading effect,using Bloom’s "taxonomy table" to divide the evaluation content from the easy to the difficult level into four levels,from the students’ familiarity with the basic content of the novel to the display of the personal reading ability.In the aspect of students,one is to master reading methods by combining reading with thinking,combining intensive reading with extensive reading.Two is to learn to use annotation to form good reading habits.
