The second curriculum innovation in Shanghai of primary and secondary school wasstarting on the basis of previous reform in the end of20th century. Itproposed:"secondary school chemistry education by improving the scientific literacyof students to implement the basic state policy of’develop the country through scienceand educati’on and meet social needs. Chemistry curriculum not only should payattention to reflect the new characteristics of modern chemistry and the newdevelopment of chemical sciences, but also pay attention to the internal between thechemistry and other disciplines. Deng Xiaoping said," Science and technology are theprimary productive forces." The education of secondary school chemistry shouldpermeate into modern science and technology, and should attach importance to therole of it. As the coming of the knowledge economy era, the endlessly developmentand creativity of science and technology will make a great contribution to humancivilization-Through access to literature, we can discover that there is no literaturespecialized in researching about the modern science and technology. Based on theabove background, in this paper through researching the situation of modern scienceand technology in high school chemistry textbook of the twice curriculum innovationof Shanghai, it is trying to find out relevant inspiration to education researchers forreference.This paper selects the high school chemistry textbook of the ifrst and second phasecurriculum reform as the research object. The author does it mainly by using contentanalysis method and comparative method in this paper. Firstly, people regardedmodern science and technology as the basic guiding ideology. Establish analysis indexof modern science and technology.by the author himself knowledge of modernscience and technology to establish modern science and technology of analysisindicators, namely analysis category. Then, analyze and count the two version of highschool chemistry textbook according to the analysis index. Finally, use comparativeanalysis research modern science and technology from the two version of high schoolchemistry textbook. In this analysis, it is mainly based on keywords or keyinformation of illustrations and tables as analysis unit.Through the content analysis and comparison, we can get the following generalconclusions: the index of modern science and technology is uneven in the textbook;the new textbook is more effective than old textbook to embody modern science andtechnology; the new textbook combines closely with modern science and technology,and conforms to with the chemical curriculum ideas.In addition, the author alsoreflects on the paper and hopes to provide valuable reference to others.
