And the concrete physics learning Efficacy Scaleconsists of the following six factors, which are “the efficacy of Knowledge Learningâ€,“theefficacy of Method Learningâ€,“the efficacy of Experimental Skillsâ€,“the efficacy of ScientificInquiryâ€,“the efficacy of Problem-solvingâ€,“the efficacy of Practical Application efficacy†andso on. In general, the analysis of the reliability of its internal consistency and the validity of itsconstruction indicate that the application of the scale is an ideal indexes scale of measurement.The application of the scale has investigated the different levels of the senior middle schoolstudents in the city of Jining. And its results show the following facts: The average score ofsenior middle school students in physics self-efficacy is (ranging from45to225, with themedium number of135)134.05. In the two components on of the table, The average score ofsenior middle school students in general physical performance is30.26, slightly higher than themedium number (30); The average score of specific physical performance is103.80, slightlybelow the medium number (105); In physical performance factor,“the efficacy of ScientificInquiryâ€,“the efficacy of Problem-solving†scores slightly lower than the medium number, andthe scores the other factors are slightly higher than the medium number.The application of the scale has studied the differences of the gender and grade in thephysics self-efficacy for senior middle school students in the city of Jining. And its results showthe following facts: boys and girls do differ significantly in the whole scale, two subscales, aswell as specific physical efficacy factors (not including the ways of learning dimension). As forthe ways of learning dimension, the scores of the boys in the whole scale and each dimension arehigher than those of the girls, which shows that the level of boys in physical self-efficacy aresignificantly higher than that of the girls. In terms of the general scale, two subscales, and “theefficacy of Method Learningâ€,“the efficacy of Scientific Inquiryâ€,“the efficacy ofProblem-solvingâ€,“the efficacy of Practical Application efficacyâ€, the students of Grade Threediffer much with those of Grade One and Two, with the Grade Three students owing the lowestscore. However, the students of Grade One and Grade Two don’t differ significantly.The application of the scale has studied the influence of parents with different educationalbackgrounds on their children’s physics self-efficacy level. And its results show the followingfacts: the higher level of education the father have, the higher scores the student has in all aspectsof the application of the scale of physical learning, and each dimension of the application of thescale. As for the influences of mothers, when the educational degree of mothers is high school, technical secondary school, college or above this level, there is no obvious difference in students’physical learning self-efficacy scores. However, if the educational degree of mothers is juniorschool or below, the scores in students’ physical learning self-efficacy is obviously lower.The application of the scale has studied the influence of parents with different professionson their children’s physics self-efficacy level. And its results show the following facts: as for theprofessions the fathers take, there are significant differences of higher vocational educationrequirement between farmers, intellectuals and enterprise management personnel. Speaking ofthe professions the mothers take, there are also significant differences of higher vocationaleducation requirement between farmers, intellectuals and enterprise management personnel,which is consistent with the conclusion we have drawn earlier.The application of the scale has studied the relationship between the high school students’physics learning achievements in the city of jining and physics self-efficacy. And its results showthe following facts: there is a close connection between the achievements of students and theirphysics self-efficacy, that is to say, the better the students’ physical achievements is, the higherthe physics self-efficacy is. |
