In the context of basic education’s balanced development, we carried on a series of educational reforms and Curriculum reform. Education fair has been the dominant value orientation in the field of basic education. The problem of education fair embodies on many aspects of education, of which the gender impartiality catches more educational concern. A few year ago the schoolgirl’s educational problem are highlighted. Unfortunately, recent years the boys’academic crisis in the primary school grow in intensity and has become a new global problem in the field of basic education. The researchers abroad attach a great importance on this phenomenon, and get a great deal of research findings. Conversely, the same reaches in our country started late and didn’t get enough attention and just got insufficient and superficial researchesThis dissertation is comprised of four parts. The fist part is introduction which introduces the background and significance as well as the research idea and methods, which include the literature review about academic crisis of boys in primary school at home and abroad.The second part describes the related concepts in this research.The third part concludes the academic development situation of boys in primary school through analyzing some midterm examination results in the primary school and surveying the pupils’ achievement in school activities, on which analyzes the specific performance of boys’ academic crisis in primary school and further found out the reasons from four aspects such as boys themselves, school education, culture and family.The fourth part illuminates the gender equity theory as the guiding theory for solving the boys’ academic crisis in the primary school, and advocates thinking about the boys’academic crisis in a way transcending the gender opposition. The specific countermeasures to eliminate the boys’ academic crisis are expressed as follows:the school explore new teaching models and teach different students according their different gender; the school set up a multi-stereo personal assessment system; balance the proportion of male and female teachers; teachers should learn to wait and make good use of girl advantage to intervene the culture of boyish; family education should decrease the overindulgence to children and combine love with strict educational wisdom.
