With the development of the society and the advancement of new curriculum reform, Fresh blood are appealed to infuse the teaching area as the scientism dominated class is declining and the traditional teaching which focus on objectivity, truth, standard and line struggle. This paper proposes a notion "narrative teaching" though digging into the value of story teaching. Narrative teaching surmounting the limitation of story teaching absorbs the tool’s value and value of the story content overall and focus on taking the story as the main course content and the source of teaching research and full play the extension of story vein so that students can finish course study with enjoying the story. Narrative teaching mould and methods of how to improving the level of narrative teaching are constructed by comparing the advancements and shortages between the traditional teaching and the story teaching and dissecting the possible reason through coding, classification, category analysis and situation analysis of classical traditional teaching lessons and story teaching lessons. Following is the basic framework of the paper.First part is introduction which introducing the source of narrative teaching, finding the research trend by concluding and finding the problem of former research, proposing the research methods.Second part analyzes whole and category, content and form of "story" in narrative teaching; notion of narrative teaching, the basis of metaphor study and narratology and features of narrative teaching which are presenting knowledge in problem mould form, taking the students personal experience as teaching starting point, advancing the teaching process in exploring way, finishing refresher course by reproducing the story vein, learning the community to promote cooperation learningThird part taking the primary Chinese class teaching as an example, presents the problems of traditional teaching by category analysis of the class lessons and how the whole design of narrative teaching avoiding the problems by situation analysis.Forth part construct narrative teaching mould and propose some possible methods to improve the level of narrative teaching to give some inspiration for teaching behavior improvement.
