Migrant worker is a special group, which is arising inevitably in our social transition of economy. Since the1980s, with the acceleration of China’s urbanization process, a growing number of rural surplus labor flows to cities. As a consequence, the education of the children of migrant workers has become a unique social problem of Chinese society in transition, caused widespread concerning. To ensure equitable access to education of children of migrant workers not only contributes to the popularization of nine-year compulsory and improvement of its implementation quality, but also to promote equitable education and help urban and rural economic and social development, promote social harmony and stability. Kunming as the capital city of Yunnan Province gathering frontier, mountains and national districts, the education equity of migrant children is particularly typical.Based on the constructing socialist harmonious society, with the direction of theory of Marxism education justice, taking Children of migrant workers in Kunming Panlong, Guandu District, Xishan District and Chenggong area and other areas as research subjects, on the actual schooling, home education, government policies, school management of children of migrant workers and their own circumstances around Kunming, taking surveys and interviews on entrance requirements, economic costs, expectations of parents, school and family education resource allocation, academic level and the overall quality of education fair starting point, for the children of migrant workers in Kunming, this thesis analyzes many aspects of migrant children education fair in Kunming, also highlighted reasons of migrant children education fair in Kunming, so as to propose concepts of guiding migrant children education establishing and improving the education of children of migrant workers in Kunming legal system, the transformation of government functions and strengthening the management of school education, family education, the environment and enhancing the quality of their own children, co-ordination of social forces to support the education of children of migrant workers such suggestions, in order to protect the equal rights of migrant workers’ children in Kunming to education.
