From the current situation of ideological and political education in high school,although with the deepening of the curriculum reform, high school ideological andpolitical education courses has improved a lot, compared with the past. Teachers canmake the content and the actual life together, and students’ acceptance also havegreatly improved. But, due to the course’s purpose is still taking part in the exam, sohigh school ideological and political education course is given priority to withtheoretical teaching, deviated from the purpose which to guide students to formcorrect political view. This article will discusses the necessity of high schoolideological and political education into daily life, the shortage and the reasons and thecountermeasures, etc. High school ideological and political education into daily life isvery necessary, it is not simple ideological and political education, and it’s not simplecase teaching. It puts the actual ideological and political education together, callingfor the education must be from life, and be to life. The life situation or case choosed inaccordance with the training goal of ideological and political education. At the sametime requires teachers to enrich and change theirselves. High school ideological andpolitical education into daily life has the theory and application of dual meaning.Theory will be boring, intuitive, expand the teaching method research in new areas,providing some basis for quality education continue to study; Applications] will betheory vivid, intuitive, simple, facilitate students’ learning, to a certain extent, reducethe resistance of the teacher’s teaching, for students in all directions, laying a goodfoundation for quality education. High school ideological and political education intodaily life with its massive theoretical basis, including the famous Americanphilosopher and educator John Dewey’s "education is life". The theory and relatedtheories of our country’s famous educator Tao Xingzhi. The current high schoolideological and political education is also a lot of deficiencies. On the understanding,the main purpose of the thought political lesson teaching is still the test; In the method,classroom teaching method is still the main teaching methods; On the teaching content, more abstract, the marketability.
