| Chemistry is a natural science based on experiment, and it is very important for students to acquire knowledge and ability training. The quality and effect of chemical teaching is directly affected by chemical experiment teaching.In this thesis, the survey was carried through three aspects aiming at the status on chemical experiment teaching in this senior school. First is the hardware facilities, including the number of laboratory, the laboratory scale, lab assistant deployment, equipment apparatus and modern teaching configuration. Second is the teachers’ experimental attitude, including teachers’ educational level and age, the ideas for new curriculum, the attitude towards experiment(experimental demonstration and students’ experiments), the experimental teaching evaluation, the use of chemistry experiment resources and the history of chemistry. The last is the students’ experimental attitude, including the attitude towards experiment, the experiment habits, the understanding of the relationship between experiment and chemical learning, the student’s interest in experiment, the prefer for experiment type, the performance in grouping experiments and the expectations for chemical experiment.I have conducted the detailed research of the experiment teaching situation in this school through literature research, text analysis, interview, the questionnaire survey and so many kinds of research techniques. Through studies, I have found the following problems in the experiment teaching:First, laboratory hardware condition is so poor that it is difficult to meet the needs of the experiment, such as imperfect of experimental facilities, shortage of experimental instrument and drugs, low capacity of part experimental work and weak experiment management. Second, the lab is idle because laboratory utilization rate is low. Third, restricting the existing examination system makes the attention rate low. Fourth, the lack of chemistry teachers’ own accomplishment makes experimental value not high. Fifth, chemical experiment teaching form is single so it restricts the creativity of students. Sixth, the lack of school teaching information resources limits the horizons of students. Seventh, the current experiment teaching evaluation system is not complete so it controls development of experiment teaching.According to the conclusion based on the above investigation, I put forward the following policy from the school, teachers, students and the relevant departments combined with the actual situation in the region. As for school:change the concept of leadership and strengthen the management and construction of laboratory, organize the training and learning of teachers to improve the overall quality, develop and utilize teaching resources to avoid waste of resources. As for teachers:fix their reposition on the basis of the concept of the new curriculum reform, change the traditional ideas to strengthen the experimental teaching research, carry out the second classroom activities to increase the use rate of laboratory, collect and collate the experimental resources to establish chemical experimental resource, add the history of chemistry to cultivate students’ scientific literacy. As for students:students are required to observe more, think more and handle more, they should read more books and find their own interest in the experiment or explore the family experiments and student experiments from the textbook or study the problem of life and social issues in the encouragement of teachers. As for relevant departments:research department flexibly provide "demonstration experiment"ã€"student experiment"etc according to the local level of education and the equipment of laboratory and teachers, recover the original high school graduation on the ability of students in experimental operation examination, improve the experimental proposition technology in college entrance examination, establish assessment and evaluation system consistent with the concept and reform of the new curriculum as soon as possible. |
